Terms & Conditions

 

1. General

By booking and renting equipment from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These apply to all bike box rentals unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Rental Period

The rental period begins on the agreed collection or delivery date and ends on the agreed return date. Late returns may result in additional charges.

3. Booking & Payment

All bookings are subject to availability. Payment must be made in full before the rental period begins. Prices are inclusive of any stated rental fees but exclude delivery unless specified.

4. Security Deposit

We reserve the right to take a security deposit before releasing the bike box. The deposit will be refunded after the item is returned in satisfactory condition, subject to inspection.

5. Use of Equipment

The bike box must be used only for transporting bicycles and related cycling equipment. The renter is responsible for ensuring the bike is packed correctly and securely.

6. Packing Responsibility

We provide packing guidance, but responsibility for correct packing lies solely with the renter. We are not liable for damage caused by incorrect packing or airline handling.

7. Damage, Loss, or Theft

The renter is responsible for the bike box for the full rental period.

  • Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may be charged

  • Loss or theft of the bike box may result in a charge up to the full replacement cost

8. Cancellations

Cancellation terms will be outlined at the time of booking. Cancellations made close to the rental start date may be non-refundable.

9. Late Returns

Late returns may incur additional daily rental charges. If a late return affects another booking, further fees may apply.

10. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage to bicycles or components during transit

  • Airline, courier, or third-party handling issues

  • Delays, missed flights, or travel disruptions

Our liability is limited to the rental fee paid.

11. Insurance

We recommend that renters ensure their bike and equipment are covered by their own travel or bicycle insurance.

12. Condition of Equipment

All bike boxes are checked before and after each rental. Any issues must be reported immediately upon collection.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
